Here’s how I test and validate my product ideas before launching them.
1. Look if someone already does it

Let’s say you want to start a gym clothing brand for women over 50 years old.
Start by checking whether a company is already catering to that demographic with those products.
If the answer is yes, it means that there is a market which is a positive sign.
If the answer is no, it’s likely negative because it means that everyone else who’s tried failed. Yet, that shouldn’t prevent you from pursuing the idea.
