I Turned Down Sex From a Beautiful Woman Because She Was a Terrible Conversationalist

Words matter more than you think.

Notes from a Degenerate Young Man

The lady in the picture above is a model and definitely NOT Sheryl, the woman whom I speak of in this story. For one, Sheryl is Asina — although they DO share some similarities. Those legs, man. Those damned legs… Picture credit: Koolshooters on Pexels

Everyone had a crush on Sheryl in school.

She was beautiful and athletic. Vice-captain of the women’s basketball team, she boasted large eyes, a buxom body, and long, lean legs, tanned a nutty gold from the sun.

To accentuate those legs, Sheryl wore shorts. She had an excuse for those shorts. She said she wore them so she didn’t need to change out in order to play ball. The girls rolled their eyes to hear her reasons, but the boys didn’t care. So long as she was wearing them, that was reason enough for us.

Yes, we all had a crush on Sheryl, but she didn’t pay attention to any of us. All she cared about was basketball and her studies.

Which was why, fast forward to the present day, I was surprised when Sheryl agreed to go on a date with me.

Granted, I wasn’t the same boy I was before.

I was a man now — or at least I pretended to be.

The years have been kind to me. Gone was the gangly teen I used to be. I still carried the scars from my teenage battle with acne, but at least I had become a fledgling entrepreneur, Z-list reality TV show star…
