Good morning everyone!

I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend. Fall weather has finally reared its head here in Kentucky, so I will be spending time chopping some firewood, cooking up some hearty soups and sitting in bed with a few good books this weekend.

I wanted to send you a brief note to share some of the pieces that I have published this week in case you missed them. I also thought I would show you what I have been reading this week that really spoke to me.

Recently Published Poems and Essays:

Someday Came Soon Enough — Published in Notes From the Ether

Flew Too High (Growing Pains) — Published in American Haiku

Puzzled Pieces — Published in The Junction

My Plan for the Next 80 Years — Published in Notes From the Ether

Burn Brighter — Published in American Haiku

To Poets: If You Can’t Think of What to Write, You Might Be Neglecting Yourself — An essay published in Onward+Upward

If you haven’t checked out American Haiku yet I highly recommend that you do so. American Haiku is one of the most interesting and exciting forms of poetry I’ve worked on in a while, and I absolutely love the work that gets posted there. Go check it out!

What I’ve Been Reading:

Deer Season by Matthew Donnellon — This one is hands down my favorite. Absolutely beautiful, and I adore everything about this story.

Seven Years of Solitude by Ansel Guarneros

Some Ologist by Rolli

Which of these pieces did YOU like best?
