Ekko’s aim is to have your new site online in under a minute, ready?

Ekko’s mission is simple: Create a website in seconds from your business Facebook Page.

We wanted this simplicity to be reflected throughout the Ekko experience, which is why we‘ve added the option to pay by Direct Debit, simplified the pricing and scrapped the outdated free trial model.

Listening to our users

Over the last few months we’ve been working closely with our users to improve our service, so we’ve made some exciting new changes…

Direct Debit

One thing that was clear, giving people the option to pay by Direct Debit would give more flexibility to them as business owners. Many businesses in the UK choose to pay by Direct Debit to avoid having to update expired bank cards and retain full control over the bank mandate itself.

We’re using the excellent GoCardless, who are trusted by thousands of businesses in the United Kingdom to handle their Direct Debit.

Simplified Pricing

Originally Ekko had two pricing options, monthly and annual. Listening to the feedback from our user base, we discovered that the most popular option was monthly. Having the option to pay for Ekko on a month to month basis is like any other subscription for small businesses, from phone contracts, broadband, to the awesome Graze boxes…

“We all like the ease of monthly outgoings, it’s just easier to budget” — Paul, small business owner and Ekko user

Ekko now has one price:

£14.99 per month

This still includes all the innovative features of Ekko, along with free hosting and a free non-premium domain name (.com, .net, .co.uk, etc.)

Goodbye free trials, hello preview mode

All users now have access to Ekko in preview mode, until they’re ready to add a domain name and pay for their subscription.

Current users of Ekko felt they got such a good sense of what Ekko provided within minutes of signing up, that a free trial was unnecessary for this type of service.

In preview mode, you can still do all the things you could in your free trial; sync your Facebook content, switch themes and turn your site online (accessible via a temporary web address).
