Katherine is a freshman at Stanford studying computer science with a focus on human-computer interaction. Her artistic interests include sculpture, calligraphy, mixed media art, video game design, and computer graphics. She is a quiet observer of the world, appearing vigilant though she often zones out. Her artwork is usually motivated by random urges of experimentation, drawing inspiration from things ranging from her Taiwanese-American identity, academic interests, her sister’s elegant artistic style, to Pomeranians, her favorite dog breed.
