Shina’s Contributor’s Bio

Shina is a freshman at Stanford University planning on majoring in symbolic systems. Her favorite things include lemons, not-too-sweet cakes, and cute animals. In particular, she feels proud of her two dogs; if she could bring them everywhere, she would. Unrelated to her love for lemons (but ironically seeming relevant), her favorite song is “Lemon” by Kenshi Yonezu. As a member of Stanford O-Tone: East Asian A Cappella, Shina loves singing and is also an otaku. Her goals are to learn enough Japanese to ditch the subtitles and maybe figure out what she wants to do with her life.
