More Than Words Can Say

Hurt people hurt people.

It is a fact of life that is more often than not hard to digest especially when it happens to oneself. Our lives are full of unexpected joys, yet at the same time we have to go through the pains of ageing. Even knowing this and after going through a period of tribulation I still find myself questioning, pondering, examining…imagining. There are so many what ifs and buts.

Yet in situations like this where I don’t know how to respond, the bible offers us a promise which brings more comfort than my own words can say.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

— Deuteronomy 31:6
