We observed that a large portion of our users hardly switch between tools in a typical note-taking session. Yet we provide so many tools that are constantly in the visual space of the user. Keeping this in mind, we have taken “Distraction Free” as one of the key guiding principles when designing Noteshelf 3.

The customizable toolbar feature lets you pick the tools you use most often and remove the ones you don’t use, making the app UI look more simple and tailored for your specific needs.

To take it even further, we’ve introduced a FOCUS mode where all the tools will be removed from the screen with a quick 4-finger tap gesture. You can enjoy an edge-to-edge note-taking experience where the paper fills the entire screen. Absolutely no distractions and more space for your notes!
