Connection aired from May 24th to July 6th, 2024 on SBS Network having a total of 14 episodes starring Ji Sung [Jang Jae Kyung]and Jeon Mi Do [Oh Yun Jin]as leads. This is the best thriller drama with incredible script and acting to be released this year.
Synopsis
Jang Jae Kyung, Oh Yun Jin, and Park Jun So were best friends in high school but an incident happened that separated them, and haven’t spoken to each other for nearly 20 years. As time passed Jang Jae Kyung became a detective of Ahnhyeon’s Narcotics Unit while Oh Yun Jin became a reporter of the Ahnhyeon Economic Daily. Mysteriously Park Jun So would pass away this would bring Jang Jae Kyung and Oh Yun Jin closer to solving the mystery revolving around his death.
One day, while working on a case Jang Jae Kyung becomes forcibly addicted to drugs by someone. He is an officer who arrests drug users so he denies being a drug addict himself. This drug is new to the police. Without him realizing it, his body will start to deteriorate as he can’t survive without getting the next dose of the drug.
On the other hand Oh Yun Jin would witness a woman die in front of her as a result of this drug use. She would then chase this drug case for a scoop and soon would be entangled with Jang Jae Kyung again. Geumhyung…
