K-Drama Review: Alchemy of Souls (2022- TV Series) ~ Stream on Netflix

I was undecided about watching this series “Alchemy of Souls” because even though I love Korean historical period dramas, K-drama historical fantasies are new and different. However, after reading “5 Reasons Why You Should Watch ‘Alchemy of Souls’” by Avrantsa’s Note, this excellent review convinced me that the series was worth it!

This Korean drama fantasy TV series is very interesting. It’s all about soul shifters. “Soul shifting” is called “hwanhonsool”, which means the soul of the dead return to the living. By the way, this “Alchemy of Souls” or soul shifting is considered “dark magic” and should not be practiced. It is forbidden! But of course, that doesn’t people who have wicked evil plans from using it. “Forbidden” to them means use it and don’t get caught!
