My grandparents were avid gardeners.

They took their seeds — the likes of pumpkins, squash, zuchini, watermelon, and all the rest — and planted them in the soil. They the covered them with the dirt and watered accordingly.

Then the next day. Nothing happened.

But after a while, the seeds began to sprout. The more they tended to the grow, the better kept it was going to be.

And then soon later, the seeds had turned into gorgeous vegetables.
