Notifi Begins Multi-chain Expansion on NEAR, Integrates with Astro to Bring Push Notifications to DAO Participants
Notifi, a messaging layer for Web3, today added support for the NEAR ecosystem as part of its first multi-chain push. Through an integration with Astro DAO, a NEAR-powered platform that lets anyone launch a DAO, NEAR users can now opt in to DAO proposal alerts delivered via SMS or email, solving a typical Web3 user pain point of having to stay glued to Twitter and Discord to get the latest updates.
Notifi’s expansion into the NEAR ecosystem follows a series of successful integrations in the Solana ecosystem, including with Solana’s SPL governance protocol Realms to power its DAO notifications and NFT marketplace Holaplex to enable real-time auction alerts.
NEAR is the second blockchain network supported after Solana but this latest deployment marks the start of Notifi’s multi-chain expansion including Terra and Ethereum in the next few weeks. NEAR ecosystem has been thriving exponentially since its inception with multiple use cases in DeFi, NFT, DAOs, Validators, Gaming, Stablecoins, Dev Tools, Oracles, IDO and infrastructure and Notifi’s integration will be a win-win scenario for all protocols and their ever-growing users.

Astro DAO Integration
As the first NEAR project to integrate Notifi SDK, a collection of APIs that allow Web3 developers to easily deploy messaging features for both on and off-chain communications, Astro DAO is aiming to increase governance participation rates by adding push notification services for DAOs.
Telegram, Discord, and Twitter are among the most common ways DAOs to stay in touch with their communities but this method can be both inefficient and crowded, resulting in most users keeping their notifications muted due to the sheer volume of messages. The integration with Notifi allows Astro DAO users to sign up for real-time alerts that notify them of new proposals and updates, solving the problem of buried notifications on one-to-many channels and ensuring users never miss out.
