Shadow of Mordor

Shadow of Mordor came out of nowhere for me. I did not expect it to have any sort of appeal, simply because I tended to avoid games that shared lineage of The Lord of the Rings.

Then it came out.

My, how just simply playing a game can change your opinion on the whole thing. I loved the Assassin’s Creed series of games until the polarizing Assassin’s Creed III. A lot of things about that game did not click, so I essentially gave up on the franchise altogether. I played a bit of ACIV but it never got to the level of the previous games.

Shadow of Mordor is a better Assassin’s Creed game than Assassin’s Creed III was. I’m okay with that.
