Travel Icon Journal: Ciudad de México

In this series, we’re sharing iconography from places near and far. This Travel Icon Journal is brought to you by Design Director Geremy Mumenthaler.

Mexico City is one of the most iconic places in the world, known for its historic legacy, incredible street food, and rich cultural diversity. While roaming the streets I witnessed a visual language that was communicative, while at the same time being playful and unique.

Here are some of my favorite icons:

Motorcycle Parking

I saw perros of EVERY size.

Lots of bicycles, and a great bike share program.

I love the addition of the skateboard.
