In life, you need to find your own way. You need to find your own path. Many times, the path will be straight, where you know exactly where to go. At times, the path may be at a steep incline, where life just challenges you physically. Sometimes there will be a fork in the road where you will have to make a significant or difficult choice. Other times, there will be dead ends, curves, and zig zags where it’s just confusing. Navigating through all these parts are all a part of life.

You need to find what works for you. With your education, you have your own path. For some, going straight to a 4 year college or university is the way to go. For others, going to a community college first, or a trade school fits their needs or interests. For those of you who go into the military or the workforce straight out of high school, that is a viable option if you think that is the right path for you and your life.

Finding what is the right path for you is something you have to figure out for yourself. Other people can give you advice about what worked for them, but you have to sift through that information to see what applies to your life and what doesn’t. Even though there may be a lot of overlap, life isn’t the same now as it was back then for them. Figuring out the path forward is not just a challenge, but an exciting opportunity for you to blaze your own path.
