Was I newly disabled?

I was trying my best to make sure that was not the case.

Since a spine surgery I had in 2016, my lower left leg had been having problems. It was always numb, tingling, and at times painful. These feelings ran from my knee down to my toes, and I felt like my leg didn’t work like it should. It was like I wasn’t getting full use of my leg and foot anymore.

It basically felt like a disability, to be honest. Walking was hard, even standing still felt strained. And forget about running! One of my fears was being out somewhere with something crazy popping off and I couldn’t run. I was sad and afraid that I couldn’t run anymore.

Remedies and treatments I tried

Living with my leg like that wasn’t just frustrating, it was exhausting. I tried everything the doctors told me to do. They gave me pills, ran tests, and told me to “just stay active.” I still tried to do my workouts. But nothing really worked.
