Oh, the wisdom of the ages. We’ve all heard it before — to lose weight, just move more and eat less. Who knew that skipping the extra fries and jogging for ten minutes a day could turn us all into supermodels? It’s not like life, stress, or needing to be comforted at times have anything to do with gaining weight, right?

But seriously.

How many times have you heard somebody throw out the move-more-eat-less spiel and just rolled your eyes, thinking, “Do they even know what real life is like?” Like, we’re all just supposed to have unlimited time and energy to work out and count every single calorie to lose weight.

Trying to lose weight is hard!

Losing weight is not that simple when you’re trying to juggle work, school, family, and everything else you’ve got going on. For me, just making it through some days feels like a win, so finding time to hit the gym and cook a strategically thought-out 100% healthy meal is a challenge.
