Polkadot Vault turns your iOS or Android device into a dedicated hardware wallet for the Polkadot ecosystem. Your private keys are kept secure offline at all times and transactions are signed in an air-gapped way via QR-codes.
Polkadot Vault is designed specifically to complement the Polkadot ecosystem — allowing users to easily update their hardware wallet whenever a runtime upgrade occurs by using QR codes, such as those found on the Novasama Technologies Metadata Portal.

This move will bring renewed focus and drive to Polkadot Vault. Parity Technologies has made commendable efforts in developing the application (formerly known as Parity Signer). The principles of the product perfectly align with that of Novasama Technologies as it is a purely web3 based, non-custodial and encrypted technology. Novasama Technologies will bring our user-centric approach to the management of Polkadot Vault, ensuring that Polkadot Vault not only continues to be maintained, but also starts to be more widely known and understood by the Polkadot ecosystem community as well as the greater web3 community as a whole.
