NFT and Resource Prices
Current floor prices are
NovaX Planet: 2.15 AVAX
NovaX Troop: 0.15 AVAX
NovaX Loot: 0.089 AVAX
We will talk about the reasons behind the low floor prices in this article.
Let’s start with troops and loots. As we track the user activities, we are seeing players won’t attend to buy a loot or troop item, instead, they are trying to generate by them selfs. Because there is no demand for these items prices are staying low.
But we are also hearing some complaints from players like “I have 3 planets but can’t have enough resources to complete all the missions”. Our alternative strategy/advice for those players who want to experience all the NovaX mission & boss fight content is: They may consider reducing their planet amounts and using the AVAX they earn it from for purchasing loots, troops, or even resource tokens. This way they will be holding a fewer amount of planets but a much more powerful planet.
For example
“4 amounts of level 2–2–2 Planets” and “One level 8–8–8 Planet” generate the same amount of resource tokens. Also, level 8–8–8 planet’s potential sell price will be higher compared to a 2–2–2 planet.
We also receive some feedback about introducing a renting mechanism for troops. But since the current troop prices are very low (0.15 AVAX), we believe there is no need to develop a renting mechanism for now, because players can already purchase troops at low prices.
We believe that there are two main reasons why planet NFT prices are falling.
- All NFT market prices and volumes are falling down. If you check other Avalanche NFT/Game projects you will see the same thing on nearly all of them. This is a factor we can’t change, if NFT project prices continue to go down, NovaX will probably go down too. If the main market starts to go up again, NovaX will probably benefit from it.
- There is not enough demand for the in-game assets (resource tokens, troops, loots). When resource prices go down, playing NovaX becomes not profitable, so we are losing the earning part. That's why since day 1, we are working on creating more demand for resource tokens. As you know troops, loots, missions, boss fights, new buildings; all of them generate resource tokens. As we speak we are still working on our next big update PvP battles. We are hoping that it will increase the demand for resource tokens.
PvP
For the main concept about our PvP you can read our previous article.
Once PvP is live, all battle fights will be consuming resource tokens & troops items. PvP will be different from missions because you will be competing with other players and have a chance to gain resource tokens from the enemy. So we believe it will increase the entertainment of our game.
PvP will be live on December 12, 2021.
