Digital Signage domain has significantly evolved in the past 20 years, from the ‘Airport time table’ to a popular and powerful infotainment tool for promoting business on-premise and its surroundings. The cost of Digital Signage ingredients dropped by more than 80% and the cost & complexity of implementation of the supporting software is aligned with the trend. So, still what are the blockers from implementing billions of digital signs? How come there are still businesses that are not implementing it?
The answer is most probably the perception that the implementation is still complicated. Everyone wants Netflix… Download an APP, install and configure, pay something per month and start using…. But is it really so different in digital Signage?? Not sure anymore.

The digital signage is becoming more and more popular for businesses at any size, just like Netflix. It will take some time, but eventually everyone will use it. This industry has passed the stage of the ‘early adopters’, moving slowly but surely into the main stream of Small and Medium Business (SMB).
