Anyone that watches a film, TV show or documentary and criticizes it is what I’d call an “armchair critic”.

Enter Letterboxd — the place where most film buffs (armchair critics) hang out online and say whatever they want about everything they watch.

Over the years, Letterboxd has become a haven for some of the world’s best and worst movie critics. This is why this video clip below of Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert (writers and directors of the multi-award-winning film Everything, Everywhere All at Once) is so enlightening and amusing.

Let’s put this into perspective — upon its release, Everything, Everywhere All At Once was a phenomenally popular film. It was nominated for 11 Oscars and has won many other smaller awards for everything from writing to best film editing.
