NPER team has decided to communicate more actively and share NPER’s vision with supporters and followers. This is what we’ve been up to during last week! (Some details may be repeated. We ask sincerely for your understanding.)

[NPER Biz]

- Global IP Week in Singapore

Global IP week took place on September 4th~5th at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. World’s foremost IP thought leaders, legal experts, and innovative companies were there and NPER took this opportunity to communicate and connect with fellow participants.

It was good opportunity to hear the opinions of global Patent IP experts and their interest in blockchain technology was very impressive.

We also had meaningful time with global IP companies who have interest in blockchain technology and discussed possible ways to collaborate. We will do our best to share good news.

- International Patent Information Expo ‘PATINEX 2018’

NPER attended PATINEX 2018 in Seoul on September 6th~7th. A lot of IP related companies participated in this event organized by KIPO(Korean Intellectual Property Office), and had time to learn about the latest trends in the patent industry, as well as patent strategies on new technologies such as blockchain and AI.

We also talked about the expected effects of combining blockchain and IP industry while having networking time with various IP companies.

- Contents Impact Project of KOCCA, <BLOCKCHAIN X INDIE ARTIST>

NPER has been selected for the project <BLOCKCHAIN X INDIE ARTIST> supported by KOCCA. Existing content providers will be participating to work together on contents using blockchain-and cryptocurrency-technology. NPER attended orientation this week to kick-off this project.

For this project we have meetings with KOCCA and partner organizations every week. We will strive to create the innovative result by integrating blockchain technology into content.

NPER will continue to cooperate with government agencies and educational institutions to have public confidence and strive for the development of blockchain technology.

- NPER Wallet iOS Version Released

NPER releases its NPER Wallet (Beta ver.) for iOS, NOW available on App Store. Please find the details below:

-Practical Progress for Patent Applications related to Blockchain Technology

NPER is working on its own blocckchain security technology and IP protection related technologies. In this process, we are making efforts to apply for our own patents, and we are continuing meetings with a patent attorney who will manage the NPER’s IP portfolio.

  • NPER IP Ledger will be launched in Q3
    NPER is striving to build IP dritributed ledger that records IP information on blockchain, and is able to solve opaqueness issue, which is the chronic problem of IP industry and also clarify its ownership/licensing. As a first step, we are building a cloud-based service to collect content-related IP information.
  • NPER will participate in Blockchain Seoul Expo on Sep 17th~19th
  • CEO will be speaking at Blocfest Asia on Sept 27th

- 싱가포르 Global IP Week 참가

9월 4일~5일 양일간 싱가포르 마리나 베이 샌즈에서 진행된 Global IP Week에 참가하였습니다. 전세계 IP 관계자들이 참석해주셨고 이 기회를 통해 엔퍼는 많은 분들과의 네트워킹 시간을 가질 수 있었습니다.

특허 IP와 관련된 글로벌 전문가들의 견해를 들을 수 있었으며, 블록체인 기술에 관해 특히 관심을 갖는 부분이 인상적이었습니다.

해당 행사에서 블록체인 기술에 관심을 갖고있는 글로벌 IP 기업들과 깊은 이야기를 나누었으며, 협업 가능한 방향을 논의 하였습니다. 관련하여 좋은 소식을 들려드릴 수 있도록 노력하겠습니다.

- 제 14회 국제 특허정보박람회 PATINEX 2018 참가

9월6일~7일 양일간 서울에서 열린 국제 특허정보박람회 PATINEX 2018에 참가하였습니다. 특허청이 주관한 해당 행사에는 IP관련 기업들이 대거 참여 하였으며, 특허산업의 최신 트렌드와 블록체인, AI등 신기술에 관한 특허 전략을 배울 수 있는 시간을 가졌습니다.

또한 다양한 IP 회사들과 네트워킹 시간을 가지면서 블록체인과 IP산업이 결합했을 때 나타날 수 있는 기대효과를 이야기 나누었습니다.

- 한국콘텐츠진흥원 콘텐츠 임팩트 프로젝트, <인디아티스트를 위한 블록체인> 오리엔테이션 참가

한국콘텐츠진흥원에서 지원하고 진행되는 <인디아티스트를 위한 블록체인> 프로젝트에 엔퍼가 선발 되어 기존 콘텐츠 업체들이 참가하고 있으며 블록체인과 암호화폐 기술을 적용한 콘텐츠 관련 협업을 진행할 예정입니다. 이번주 엔퍼는 오리엔테이션에 참석하여 각 프로젝트 참가팀을 소개하는 시간을 가졌습니다.

해당 프로젝트를 위해 매주 콘텐츠진흥원 및 파트너 기관들과 미팅이 진행되고 있습니다. 콘텐츠에 블록체인 기술을 접목하여 혁신적인 결과물을 창출해낼 수 있도록 노력하겠습니다.

엔퍼는 정부기관 및 교육기관과의 지속적인 협업을 통해 공신력을 확보하고 블록체인 기술 발전에 노력하도록 하겠습니다.

- NPER Wallet iOS 버젼 출시

지난 5월 출시된 안드로이드 베타버전에 이어 이번에 iOS 베타버전이 출시되었습니다. 자세한 내용은 아래 링크를 통해 확인해주시기 바랍니다.

- 블록체인 기술 특허 출원을 위한 실무 진행

엔퍼팀은 자체적으로 블록체인 보안 기술 및 IP 보호에 관련한 기술을 연구중에 있습니다. 이 과정에서 자체 특허 출원을 위해 노력하고 있으며, IP 포트폴리오를 관리해주실 변리사님과 지속적으로 미팅을 진행하고 있습니다.
