Keeping ecosystems and community friendly

Last week, we read a post from Jenn Schiffer that we agreed with so wholeheartedly that we republished it on npm’s blog.

In the post, Jenn describes the contrast between how ecosystem tools are set up to handle contributions (whether they be code snippets, static sites, or lists of your favorite pizzerias) and how the community judges the contributions made within those spaces in the ecosystem.

The bottom line: all contributions are valid contributions and each of them has value, so be friendly.
