Earlier this week, we announced the release of npm@6 to `latest` so you can pause reading right here and install, if you’d like. Or you can head over to the blog to read about the new features in npm@6, like automatic warnings if you try to use code with a known security issue or the ability to configure webhooks from the npm CLI.
