The latest for npm’s cli: v6.6.0-next.0
Last week, the npm CLI team announced a new pre-release version, npm@6.6.0-next.0. Version 6.5.0 is the latest for now, so keep an eye out for the announcement when v6.6.0 officially gets released. v6.6.0 includes a major refactor, so read those release notes.
