Maybe we need to ask Okay Bears for permission.
But I have to say.
Their website is really well made.
Their Twitter has 386k followers and Discord has around 378k members as well.
A lot of Twitter influencers are changing their profile picture to Trippin’ Ape Tribe, including @MagicEden, @Jaci_DAO, and @_Urkann.
So overall, the community is really hyped now.
Generally speaking, their beautiful art, excellent lore, and vibrant community help make them one of the most hyped projects we have ever seen.
However, the tribe is similar to BAYC and MAYC in terms of the traits. Although the Trippin’ Ape Tribe has some great stories, they provide zero utility.
In terms of the team behind the project, they have founders, artists, marketing leads, developers, and so on, a pretty standard build for an NFT team while the majority of the team is privately doxxed.
Where’s the Trippin’ Ape Tribe Roadmap?
Their roadmap is unconventional, in terms of what’s included AND how it will be shared. Do keep in mind that Chorles’s most perceptive and devout followers may be able to piece together future utilities and alpha about the project before straightforward announcements make things official.

What About Their Floor Price Now?
As shown in the figure below, the floor price of Trippin’ Ape Tribe at the time of this writing is 58 SOL ($2807). The total volume sits at 272789.61 SOL and currently has listed a total of 2340 NFT.
From OpneSea activity, we can see that their average price has come down a little bit from around 1.8 ETH to around 1.3 ETH.
People have come to realize that there are always paper hands in Solana.
Besides, as you can see from the stats below, trades are slowing down.
After the Trippin’ Ape Tribe sales, holders who flipped quickly are turning profits into other Solana projects like @CetsOnCreck and @okaybears.
And I also found that this Twitter account was only created on Apr 18th, 2022.
It makes me wonder if there were a lot of followers buying during May 13–20.
Yesterday, Trippin’ Ape Tribe lost about 5,972 Twitter followers.
This all looks kind of more like a cash grab than an actual project with utility.
Conclusion
To be completely honest, I think their art looks absolutely amazing.
Even though they provide zero utility now, it doesn’t really matter if there is a lot of hype.
This still is a really good opportunity for a short-term flip. For a long-term hold however, in my opinion, it’s not worth it.
