Special Report: Immigration on Sweden
The model country for the left is showing signs of stress as the mask built by the left starts to crumble. We are talking, obviously, about Sweden.
As reported on Express UK:
SWEDEN’S capital was plunged into chaos on Monday as police were forced to fire at rioters after a violence erupted in an area described as high risk.
Violence erupted after the police had tried to arrest a wanted person on the subway.
Sylvia Odin, of the Stockholm police, said: “There was stone throwing and they were placed in a situation where a number of people jointly attacked and threw stones. They felt vulnerable and threatened.
Lawless thugs are wreaking havoc unchecked, and officers are often at personal risk when entering the crisis-hit areas.
As the crisis in the Swedish police force continues to grow as they are powerless against the increasing number of violent crimes, one officer took to Facebook to share his frustration.
The former deputy chief of the serious crimes division wrote: “I’m so f***** tired. What I’m writing here isn’t politically correct. But I don’t care.
“Our pensioners are on their knees, the schools are a mess, healthcare is an inferno, the police is completely destroyed. Everyone knows why, but no one dares or wants to say why.”
What happened in Sweden is being downplayed by the western media because it involves immigrants and it is a touchy issue for them (of course, there is lot more to it than meets the eye). But, luckly for concerned citizens, there is still a independent media in this world that do not bow down to this narrative and comes with the “alternative facts” to what happened last night in Stockholm and what is happening in Sweden regarding immigration.
Sweden is set to become a chaotic country in the future mainly because of its immigration policy and a glimpse of what it will become has just blown in the faces. We know that the swedish people do not tolerate this but the politically correct has shut their voices and now they feel impotent to fight back the system.
But what is exactly happening there?
What an account from a swedish citizen in Youtube:
According to Swede Speaks, Rinkeby is a suburb in Stockholm, largely populated by non-western migrants and its descendents. There, TV crews were chased by mobs of non-ethnic swedes. He goes on to say that riots in Sweden are becoming common. He goes on to say that there needs to be an open conversation about what’s going on. Then says that the swedish media and politicians are denying the situation and refusing to talk about it and are complaining that people are getting information through alternative media. He states that the information that they’re getting comes from danish, norwegian and even british sources because of the swedish media blockade. From his account it comes as a shock that the swedish police have not being able to fully employ its power to deal with the situation that they’re facing. According to him, swedish newspapers are reporting on the crimes comitted but do not say anything about the suspects because that would be racist.
Another side to the problem is how the western left, in general, supports immigration of non-western people. A former U.S. Ambassador to Sweden Azita Raji went to Tucker Carlson Tonight and gave some answers to the american public for questions like “why are rape stats growing?”
Regarding the question she responds that this follows from a culture that encourages people to come forward, not linked to immigration rising in recent years. She then goes on to state something along the lines “Sweden is taking a lot of people but the challenges they are facing may have nothing to do with the influx of people”. What?
Ami Horowitz also went to Tucker Carlson show after he wen to Sweden to find out more about the effects that immigration is having in the country.
According to Horowitz, Sweden is taking so many refugees because they feel like they are a humanitarian superpower, then it follows that this is their moral duty to open their borders to refugees. He says that for the swedish people is quite clear, from statistics and experience, that the start of the open doors policy and the rise of gun violence and rapes are connected. But the catch is that they are making excuses for it, saying that the violence is not linked to this group but to men in general (the politically correct approach). Ami Horowitz says that the crime statistics are open to the public but many of the crimes are being covered up due the characteristics of the suspect. But sometimes, when there are many witnesses to the crimes they come out about what happened.
Some stats pointed by him:
From 2012 to 2016, the murder rate rised 70%. Rape rate from 2007 to 2015 is up almost 70% according to the Swedish National Council statistics.
Interesting report on RT.com:
Turkey warns travelers at airport of high ‘rape rate’ in Sweden amid underage sex scandal
The “warning” apparently appeared at the international Ataturk airport, in the form of a banner, by the Turkish Gunes newspaper, The Local reported on Friday.
The Swedish diplomats in Turkey have also released a statement calling the cited rape statistics “reoccurring misconceptions.”
“To compare reported rape in Sweden with reported rapes in other countries with different legal and statistical systems does not describe reality correctly,” the Swedish embassy in Ankara wrote. It explained that crime statistics are calculated differently in Sweden, with “every single offense” being recorded separately, even when involving the same victim and suspect over a particular period of time.
Note that this is coming from Turkey, a country on which a court ruling legalized sex for children under the age of 15.
Let’s round up with what the media is saying about the last episode on Sweden:
The Washington Post — Riots erupt in Sweden’s capital just days after Trump comments
Just two days after President Trump provoked widespread consternationby seeming to imply, incorrectly, that immigrants had perpetrated a recent spate of violence in Sweden, riots broke out in a predominantly immigrant neighborhood in the northern suburbs of Sweden’s capital, Stockholm.
The neighborhood, Rinkeby, has seen riots in 2010 and 2013, too. And in most ways, what happened late Monday night was reminiscent of those earlier bouts of anger. Swedish police apparently made an arrest around 8 p.m. near the Rinkeby metro station. For reasons not yet undisclosed by the police, word of the arrest prompted a crowd of youths to gather.
In 2015, when the influx of refugees and migrants to Europe from Africa, the Middle East and Asia was highest, Sweden took in the greatest number per capita. By and large, integration has been a success story there, save for incidents like Monday night’s, which have taken place in highly segregated neighborhoods.
The newspaper Dagens Nyheter analyzed crime statistics between October 2015 and January 2016 and came to the conclusion that refugees were responsible for only 1 percent of all incidents.
A Pew Research Center study conducted in early 2016 indicated that 46 percent of Swedes believed that “refugees in our country are more to blame for crime than other groups.”
Multiple criminologists in Sweden contacted by The Washington Post over the weekend said that the notion that immigrants were responsible for a large proportion of crime there was highly exaggerated.
The New York Times — From an Anchor’s Lips to Trump’s Ears to Sweden’s Disbelief
On Friday night, Fox News aired an alarming six-minute segment in which the host, Tucker Carlson, interviewed a documentary filmmaker about a crisis of violence in Sweden ignited by the recent wave of Muslim migration.
One of his viewers agreed, and in that moment was born a diplomatic incident that illustrates the unusual approach that President Trump takes to foreign policy, as well as the influence that television can have on his thinking. After watching the program, Mr. Trump threw a line into a speech the next day suggesting that a terrorist attack had occurred in Sweden the night before.
Preliminary data released last month by Sweden’s crime prevention council found no significant increase in crimes from 2015 to 2016, even with the influx of migrants.
Manne Gerell, a doctoral student in criminology at Malmo University in Sweden, said in an interview that immigrants were disproportionately represented among crime suspects, particularly in more serious and violent offenses.
“Immigration will come with some cost, and we will likely have a bit more crime — but that’s in a society with low crime rates and in a society that works really well, so in my opinion, it’s something we can live with,” he said. “I know everybody won’t agree with that. But immigration will not double the crime rate, make everybody go broke or turn Sweden into a living hell.”
