2018 IDEA Impact Report

As my time being Marketing Lead at IDEA comes to an end, it is my pleasure to introduce our third IDEA Impact Report. Over the past three years the report has begun to develop and progress further becoming a valuable marketing tool for IDEA and the community in telling the story of what we do and the passion behind why we do it.

Over these past eight years, IDEA has made a tremendous impact on the Northeastern entrepreneurial community. We’ve accomplished a lot this year like establishing a new fund for software projects, launching the Invest Stage, and developing new resources and programming which all serve to ensure the success and reach of IDEA’s impact on the Northeastern and greater community. Our ventures have raised the bar in external funding, amounting to now $86.6 million.

The metrics we have gathered are from all IDEA’s stakeholders and related to our mission of supporting Northeastern entrepreneurs to reach their full potential through educational experiences and launching successful companies.

I would like to thank all the members of the IDEA team for their assistance and help in bringing this years story together, as well as NUCEE, our IDEA Advisory Board, and Scout for their flawless design work. We’ve had a tremendous 2017–2018 year and are extremely proud of the impact we have made on our community. I personally look forward to watching and cheering on the new leaders of IDEA.
