Juris Page, a website building, online marketing, and SEO company for lawyers, has been acquired by UpTime Legal, a leading provider of Law Practice as a Service™ (LPaaS) to small and mid-sized law firms. After meeting as freshman year roommates at Northeastern and graduating in the class of 2010, co-founders Andrew Cabasso and Sam Brodie reconvened in 2012 to found Offsprout — an online platform offering website setups, front end options, centralized management tools, manage client websites. Recognizing a market opportunity in law services due to Cabasso’s law background, the company utilized their existing Offsprout platform to provide this service to lawyers via Juris Page.

Reflecting on their experience with IDEA, Cabasso and Brodie agreed that the processes helped guide their early vision and strategy. During the stage gate process to get gap funding, constantly practicing pitching and reflecting on feedback from the coaching staff and advisors allowed them to refine their business plan and pitches. With the continued support of IDEA coaching and advisors such as NUCEE director Dan Gregory and Northeastern Entrepreneur in Residence Bob Lentz through the acquisition, they were able to use these IDEA resources for advice on this big new step for the company.

Next steps for Cabasso and Brodie are continuing to build and grow Offsprout based off of what they’ve learned from their success with Juris Page. Congratulations to the Offsprout and Juris Page teams on this big step!
