Partnering with UDGAM for an EdTech Accelerator program powered by NUMA in Delhi NCR

A 6-month EdTech focus acceleration program in Gurgaon

NUMA’s acceleration programs bring high-quality mentorship, business opportunities, international network & offices in 8 countries and funding support to the best startups around the world since 2011. In India, we have been supporting early-stage startups to fast-track their product market fit, accelerated 21 startups and supported many more through our other startup initiatives.

Today we are announcing our partnership with UDGAM; a Delhi NCR based incubator, accelerator and seed investor for a 6-month acceleration program in Gurgaon for EdTech startups. Previously, UDGAM has already incubated and invested in 16 startups through 3 incubation cohorts. UDGAM aims to educate, transform, inspire and support budding entrepreneurs and their startups.

The Program

The goal of the UDGAM Accelerator powered by NUMA program is to fast-track the growth of early-stage EdTech startups to become investment-ready companies with a tailored program, mentoring and network.

• Tailored program to accelerate the Startup growth: In the beginning, startups will be taken through multiple bootcamps on the various core functions of a business including Design, Technology/Product, Growth Hacking, etc. to help startups strengthen their product and build a business strategy. At the end of these bootcamps, we will be helping each startup to create their OKR/roadmap with clear KPIs and in the next 5 months, we will support them on the execution of this roadmap.
• Quality mentoring by some of the best mentors & in-house experts: The startups will be surrounded by some of the best in-house experts and introduced to the right mentors. In addition to the team, an Entrepreneur in Residence and Growth Hacker in Residence will support the startups to execute their product and growth strategy.
• Access to international & local networks around the EdTech industry: An actionable network is a key feature of any startup program. The selected startups will be introduced to international & local networks of corporates, experts/mentors, founders, partners, universities and foreign official delegations to enable the startups to build their own networks.
• Support on cash burn and fundraising: The headquarter of the startups during the program will be the UDGAM hub in Gurgaon which provides world-class workspace and facilities. Startups will also get access to € 700k worth of perks and to international & locals investors for fundraising support with funding opportunity from UDGAM for eligible startups during or after the program.

EdTech industry and Startups

Education is one of the booming sectors around the world but we have just seen the tip of the iceberg when it comes to innovation in this field. Educational Technologies (EdTech) cover a wide spectrum of activities and every age of life, from childhood to career development, leading to workforce/organization change. They regroup every technology making learning or teaching more efficient (assimilation of knowledge, motivation, cooperation).
