Looking at Web Summit’s outstanding growth since Paddy Cosgrave started it from his couch 5 years ago (which I discovered in a recent blog post), it makes no doubt that their story and ours had a few similarities. No, NUMA was not started on a couch. Even though, it has grown since 2013 from a non-profit aiming at helping the local parisian digital ecosystem, to a leading network of innovation hubs across the globe.

With recent NUMA openings in Moscow, Bengaluru, and the launch of a 4th location in the next few weeks, we had no other choice but to attend “Where The Tech World Meets”. Alongside 18 French startups, 10 Russian startups, and 20 Indian startups… We’ve decided to rock this 5th edition of Web Summit.

Since this is our first attendance to the biggest annual tech conference, why not make some noise?

Not only will we have a stand — T805 to be specific — but we will also be organizing a panel during the Accelerator Summit, on November, 2nd: “Will accelerators save corporate innovation?

Who, better than NUMA, to talk about the relationship between accelerators and corporates, and models for how the two can collaborate to the benefit of all… Indeed, NUMA brings together under one umbrella synergetic activities: startup acceleration, innovation programs for corporates, community and events management, and coworking.

On stage:

The amazing NUMA staff!
Are we not?

Six members of our stunning staff will be attending the Web Summit (though some of them will be more easily seen at pub crawls, and Dublin parties…), so if you have any questions, want to have a chat, or just get to know “The coolest Frenchies since Daft Punk” please make sure you come to see us on stand T805, on November, 3rd, or shoot me an email, prior to the event, with subject “Web Summit Meeting” and tell me who you would like to meet.

Who’s who?

Can’t wait to see you there!
