Blog Post #12: CaptureClub Update Crypto Payment Support!
CaptureClub is a digital media platform that adheres to CAI standards and leverages the latest blockchain technology to preserve the authenticity of digital assets. By doing so, CaptureClub brings value back to digital assets previously lost by rampant infringement and empower creators with a safe authentic media ecosystem where they can operate independent from third parties and monetize on their creations.
For this week’s blog post, we will be shining the light on CaptureClub! Since CC went LIVE in late April, we have been adding features and making adjustments to platform to ensure a complete and pleasant experience for the users. One feature that has been in the works is crypto payment! NFTs are tokens so it may be a surprise that crypto payment support was not available at onset but we designed CaptureClub with inclusivity in mind so traditional credit card payment was our first priority. We were able to afford this decision because Capture NFTs are different than traditional NFTs as they are not dependent on crypto wallets, rather the NFT token (information and record) are injected directly into the asset itself.

With this update, CaptureClub will support Ethereum Payment. In the future we will explore adding additional crypto payment methods. Stay tuned. Anyways enough talk, let’s run through ETH payment on CaptureClub!
