Submit your best 2022 photo or video to be among the 10 winners to receive 200 $NUM.

We’re excited to announce that we will be launching a 2022 photo and video campaign contest to kick off the new year!

This is going to be the first #Capture2Earn campaign.
We hope the community is as excited as we are.
Let’s see how it works!

Phase 1: Archive First Day of 2022

How to participate

  • Hold at least 3 $NUM in your Capture Wallet from Jan. 1, 2022, 00:00 UTC to Jan. 2, 2022, 23:59 UTC.
  • Use the Capture App to capture a photo or short video that you think best represents the beginning of 2022. (Capture App is available for download in the App Store and Google Play.)
  • Click on the photo you wish to submit → Click the “More” button on the right-top → Select “More Actions” in the menu → Click “Web3.0 Archive - Archive First Day of 2022 ” option and send your photo or video
  • Back to home screen and refresh, if the photo disappears, you have successfully participated in the campaign!
  • Alternatively, you may use “Transfer ownership” feature and send it to “archive-2022@numbersprotocol.io

Reward

  • Best Photo/Video Reward
10 photos or videos best represent the first day of 2022 will be selected as winners. Each winner will receive 200 $NUM as a reward.
  • Participant Reward
5 random winners from all those who took part will receive 10 $NUM

Any photos captured on the first day of 2022 can be submitted for the competition regardless of timezones (As long as your Capture date shows Jan.1, 2022). All photos will be accepted, though those that most closely match the theme will be more likely to win.

The winner will announce on Numbers Twitter on Jan. 10th, 2022 (follow it in case you miss the announcement😉) $NUM rewards will be sent to users’ Capture wallet 10 workdays after the winner announcement.

Phase 2 — Media Publication, #Capture2Earn

We have invited The Reporter (@twreporter), an award-winning news media organization, to join this campaign. The Reporter was previously selected as the winner of SOPA 2020, as well as the Human Rights Press Awards. They will be holding their own contest based on their own judging standards with the winning photos featured in their New Year’s media coverage.

Winners whose photos are selected will also receive an additional reward to permit the use of their photos. The selected photos will be featured on The Reporter’s Instagram account (@twreporter). (*The Reporter has the full right to decide the choice and use of the image)

We’d like to express our gratitude to our community for their continued support and belief in our project. We’re working hard to change how digital media is used and accessed in today’s world, and this contest is our way of saying thank you. We wish everyone a great new year and the best of luck in the campaign!
