Numbers DAO Meeting Tools — Make DAO Easier!

The 2nd Numbers DAO Meeting is approaching! Before joining the Numbers DAO meeting, let’s check what the team has developed to make the DAO meeting and voting easier!
If you had participated in our 1st DAO meeting, you must find that it’s easy to chat with the community and also simple to vote and check the current voting stats during the meeting! To ensure that all community members can simply join the DAO meeting/voting, our dev team developed a series of DAO tools before the 1st DAO meeting and will improve them after every DAO meeting, here are what we have made:
1. Governance NFT Gatekeeper
Since only the members who own a CAPTCH-A NFT can participate or vote in the DAO meeting, we have a tool called “Governance NFT Gatekeeper” to check the qualification of each participant. And to make it easier for newbies in Web3, participants can just log in with Capture App account that owns their Pebble/Snow/Rose. (And, for sure, you can also login in Web3 way, using your wallet!)
After login, the Governance NFT Gatekeeper will then check the NFT type and give relevant access to participants. If you’re a Pebble owner, you will be able to join the chat room to discuss the DAO topic with other members; if you’re a Snow/Rose owner, besides discussing the topic with other members, you will see “I Agree”/”I Disagree” button under the voting result.
2. Authentic Chat
“Transparency” is the most important core value in the Numbers community, another tool to make sure the “Integrity and Authenticity” during the DAO meeting is our “Authentic Chat.”
As mentioned, DAO meeting participants will be able to discuss the topic instantly in the chatting room, the chatting contents will be registered on blockchain just like every Capture we generated by Capture App! And we will also share the on-chain record of the discussion in our public community, so even if you’re not a CAPTCH-A owner to participate in the DAO meeting, you will still get to know what has been discussed in the meeting.
3. Voting Board
Another “Transparency” thing is that participants can check the voting status with our “Voting Board.” Every vote will reflect in the “Live Voting Result” board 10–15 mins after the vote has been made.

4. Quadratic Voting Machine
Why do we use Quadratic Voting in Numbers DAO?
Quadratic Voting is a method of collective decision-making in which a participant votes not just for or against an issue but also expresses how strongly they feel about it. It can help protect the interests of small groups of voters that care deeply about particular issues.
The Quadratic Voting machine can help participants to calculate the NUM they need to burn for votes. The amount of NUM burned is calculated in the following way: NUM tokens burnt = (Desired votes)². For example, one vote takes one NUM token. Two votes take four NUM tokens, etc.
If you strongly agree or disagree on the topic, you can change the number of votes to show it in your polls!
