INTRODUCTION

As the popularity of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) in the art world continues to rise, photographers are also looking to cash in on their work through this new medium. However, navigating the world of NFTs can be daunting for those new to Web3 technology. This is where Capture App comes in — a blockchain-powered platform with an in-built camera that simplifies the process of capturing, minting, sharing, and selling NFTs for photographers and other creators.

Web3 technology refers to the next generation of the Internet, which is decentralized and powered by blockchain technology. It enables peer-to-peer interactions and transactions, without the need for intermediaries.

A blockchain-powered platform is a digital platform that uses blockchain technology to store and verify data. This technology allows for secure, decentralized, and transparent transactions, which can be viewed by anyone on the network.

Minting refers to the process of creating new tokens or digital assets on a blockchain network. It involves the creation and distribution of new tokens or digital assets to users who can use them for various purposes, such as trading, investing, or accessing platform features

In this article, we’ll explore the rise of NFTs in photography and how Capture App is simplifying the process of selling digital assets. We’ll also look at the unique features that set Capture App apart from other NFT platforms and provide a step-by-step guide for getting started with selling NFTs on the app. Finally, we’ll consider the future of NFTs in photography and why this trend is only going to become more popular in the years to come.

What are NFTs and how are they changing photography?

You can use NFTs to represent ownership of a unique item, like a photograph. They are recorded on a blockchain, which makes them traceable, verifiable, and difficult to duplicate. By using blockchain technology, NFTs are verifiable, irreplaceable, and scarce, which makes them valuable in the digital world. This trend has impacted photography as well, as you can now sell your work as a unique digital asset that can be traced back to you as the original creator.

How can Capture App help photographers sell their work as NFTs?

Capture App is a decentralized app that allows creators to easily turn their photos and videos into NFTs. With just a few taps on the in-built camera, photographers can capture their work and sell it on the marketplace to collectors. The app is designed for anyone with a creative vision, providing a simple and straightforward solution to monetize digital assets.

The app is built on the Numbers Protocol, which ensures that all digital assets are verifiable and traceable with on-chain provenance. This level of transparency and security allows users to see "the full picture" of their digital assets.

As part of the Numbers Protocol ecosystem, Capture App integrates with the Numbers Search Engine to create Asset Profiles. These profiles showcase detailed attribution records, including NFT characterization, Creator Profiles, Integrity Records, and licensing information.

The app also includes a Network Action feature that enables photographers to make their assets even more valuable and multifunctional. This includes options like Marketplace Listings, Gift Sharing, and Web3.0 archive in OpenSea Listing, NFTrade Listing, News Publication, Social Feeds, Physical Prints, and many other possibilities that will be available in the future.

Overall, Capture App is a powerful tool for photographers who want to easily monetize their digital assets while maintaining full control and transparency over their work.

How Capture App Simplifies Monetization of Photographs Compared to Other NFT Initiators

One of the key advantages of Capture App is its user-friendly interface, which allows photographers to easily capture, mint and sell their work as NFTs. Compared to other NFT initiators, such as OpenSea or Rarible, Capture App requires just a few clicks to capture a photo, mint it as an NFT, and make it available for sale. This simplicity can be a major draw for photographers who are new to NFTs and want to quickly and easily monetize their work.

Capture App is not just about the simple operation — it also offers unique features that differentiate it from other NFT platforms. For example, unlike other NFT initiators that primarily focus on ownership and licensing, Capture App also emphasizes provenance. This means that photographers can provide detailed information about the history of their work, such as the location and context in which it was taken, which can add value and authenticity to the NFT.

Moreover, Capture App offers an all-in-one solution for photographers looking to monetize their work. This includes not only the ability to capture, mint and sell NFTs, but also to showcase their work on the platform and engage with a community of buyers and sellers. Additionally, photographers can store their assets in the in-built wallet (Asset Wallet) of the app and receive revenue directly from buyers who click “collect” on their NFTs.

Compared to other NFT platforms, such as OpenSea or Rarible, which require photographers to handle the marketing and promotion of their work themselves, Capture App takes care of these tasks within the platform. Photographers can easily share their work on social media channels and promote their portfolio through Capture App’s built-in discovery section, making it easier for buyers to find and collect their NFTs.
