Numio has entered into an integration partnership agreement with BTI Verified. This partnership will see Numio’s 2FA and KYC solutions integrated into BTI’s trade surveillance software for cryptocurrency exchanges.

The choice of Numio’s blockchain based 2FA solution over Google Authenticator shows BTI is taking the protection of client exchanges seriously. Traditional authenticator codes can be entered into phishing sites which gives attackers access codes to use on the real site, and exchange employees are a prime target for these types of attacks. An example of a phishing attack happened to twitter back in July, when the accounts of Elon Musk and 130 other high profile accounts were hit with a Bitcoin scam.

BTI Verified will also be integrating Numio’s instant KYC solution to offer to exchange partners. Numio uses privacy respecting, advanced NIST-certified AI technology to generate a 3D FaceMap and compare it to a persons government ID, with accuracy not seen in any other market solution.

This solution also allows any user to stamp the accuracy of their identity on chain for instant onboarding at any other partner crypto exchange that requires KYC — without having to go through another onboarding process.

Numio’s digital identity tech is built on PhoenixDAO protocols.

BTI is well known in the space for their in-depth reports on wash trading over the past 2 years including verifying real exchange volumes, which have led to vast improvements in the ranking models used by CMC and Coingecko. Both Bithumb and Bitforex have signed up to use BTI Verified trade surveillance software.
