What a crazy week and a half! SVB went under, USDC depegged (albeit regained it). All of it reaffirms one thing — the need for immutable, autonomous finance is greater than ever.

At Numoen we are heads down focus on building towards this vision. So here are some updates:

The Updates:

  1. A fully audited V1.0 has been deployed on Arbitrum and Celo mainnet.

2. Arbitrum is airdropping their governance token this THURSDAY, March 23rd. Expect us to be first venue to support leverage trading on ARB token!

3. We will be deploying on Polygon this Wednesday and will be announcing a product roadmap for Polygon DeFi shortly after.

4. Liquid staking derivatives like stETH, stMATIC, and so on are some of the most popular products in DeFi. For those comfortable holding the underlying token, liquid staking derivatives promise a rather low risk source of yield.

Due to oracle-free nature of the PMMP protocol, Numoen can support a leverage market on ANY token including yield bearing ones. Next up on the roadmap is to create a simple and intuitive user experience for levering up on liquid staking derivatives such as stETH.

4. We will be hosting an AMA later this week to talk about upcoming product features, enabling more leverage, and trading strategies with Power Tokens.

Straight from the professor, Lambert proposes a method for constructing any arbitrary payoff function including that of a Power Token with single tick v3 positions. Using the Gamma Transformation method, he calculates the gamma of a single tick to be:

Understanding this we can create an effective hedge for any Power Token. Thus, creating a gamma-neutral strategy in the process.

TL;DR

Understanding that the tick math for Uniswap V3 is complex. The paper aims to improve insight on the relationship between liquidity and price of a LP positions with detailed derivations. Our annotated notes on the paper will be published on medium for those interested.
