Welcome everybody and thanks for your interest in participating in the Nunet Community Supporters Round. You will need to complete a KYC (‘Know Your Customer’) process in order to participate. This is a legal requirement we are obliged to include in our token allocation process. You cannot participate in the Community Supporters Round without completing KYC.

You can find the NuNet KYC portal here and follow the instructions there.

This PDF Guide provided by our KYC partner Synaps includes more detailed instructions on all necessary steps to complete the KYC.

The KYC process opens on October 28th 13:00 UTC and users must complete KYC by November 12th 13:00 UTC. We are expecting a high demand for the NTX token, therefore we strongly encourage you to start the KYC process as soon as possible within the allocated time, as it may take time to collect and verify the required documents, live photos, and IDs.

Non-eligible countries

Unfortunately, due to legal restrictions beyond our control, we cannot offer participation in the distribution event to residents or citizens of the United States of America, China, or to unaccredited UK citizens (accredited UK citizens will be asked to sign one of two declaration forms during KYC) or residents of Canada.

The full list of countries that are excluded from the token distribution is: Afghanistan, Angola, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, Chad, China, Cuba, DR Congo, Eritrea, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Laos, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Mozambique, Nicaragua, North Korea, Pakistan, Republic of the Congo, Somalia, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkmenistan, Uganda, United Kingdom (unaccredited), United States, United States Virgin Islands, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Venezuela, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.

Overview of the KYC process:
-Create an account
-Liveness
-Identity
-Proof of address

-KYC Completed, now what?

Create an account

Start by filling in your details here. Under Token of participation, select the token you are holding to meet the token-holding eligibility requirement explained in the launch announcement. This choice whitelists you for the pool you will be able to join in during the event!

The Amount to be contributed is the maximum you would prefer to contribute, in USDT equivalent and in line with the allocation tiers mentioned in the announcement. For Currency of investment, select WETH or USDT, according to your preference. This choice whitelists you for the pool you will be able to participate in during the event!
The currency you select here is not part of the snapshots that will be taken, those will only be for AGIX and SDAO.

When you complete the account sign-up form, it emails you a code to verify the email address. Receiving this code can take some minutes. Enter this code and you can start the verification process.
If you happen to have issues with this page on iOS, kindly try using another device.

Liveness

During the liveness verification, you will need to either provide access to your webcam, or use another device like a mobile phone. When you scan the QR code on your device, you can complete the liveness verification on the link that it will provide. Note the instructions on lighting, to make sure the verification will be successful.

Identity

During the identity verification, you will be asked to provide an identity document. First select your country, then select the document type. You can then choose to either upload from your device or snap a picture with your mobile phone. Do note the requirements for the document: it needs to be clearly readable, showing all four corners, and of course not be expired. If your submission is rejected, you will receive an email with the reasons why.

Proof of address

During the proof of address verification you are required to provide a document that includes your address. Accepted documents are: electricity bill, internet bill, landline phone bill, water bill, gas bill, bank statement. Mobile phone bills will NOT be accepted.
This document must contain your full postal address clearly visible, your full name, and it must be less than 3 months old (i.e. must be dated after 29th Jul 2021). If your submission is rejected, you will receive an email with the reasons why and have a chance to correct the problem.
If you don’t have any of these documents, you can toggle the button for this and provide proof of accommodation, which includes proof of address, a signed statement by your host and ID of your host.

That’s it! You have completed your KYC, all you need to do now is wait for the feedback from Synaps. Within 24–48 hours, you will have your KYC validated. If you are still not validated within this timeframe, please contact us directly on Telegram and we will contact Synaps.

KYC Completed, what is next?

The next step is to make sure you hold the required AGIX or SDAO tokens during the snapshots of November 2nd 13:00 UTC and November 12th 16:00 UTC. If your balance changes in between the snapshots, the lowest balance will be considered. So DON’T move your tokens in between snapshots.

After the snapshots, the community contribution round will start on November 17th at 13:00 UTC.
In preparation for this, you can try to connect your wallet to app.singularitydao.ai to make sure you will not run into connectivity issues during the event.

Warning and support

Be wary of scammers impersonating official NuNet or other ecosystem representatives to trick you into sending tokens to the wrong address. Our official sources are this blog, our website, Twitter, Telegram, and Youtube. Do not trust people reaching out to you claiming to be from NuNet. You can find a full list of official Singularitynet ecosystem telegram admins here.

If you have more questions about the token launch, we have created a support email at launch@nunet.io. CEO Kabir Veitas will talk with the community about the token distribution event in an AMA, so stay tuned to our Telegram announcements channel and our Twitter for details when that will take place. You can submit your questions here.
