Coinbase Wallet now available on Nuo
dApp wallets are gaining a lot of popularity in the DeFi space recently and we at Nuo are listening to what the users are looking for. With Metamask, already being a heavyweight in the wallet department, Coinbase Wallet has made its presence in the market as a worthy alternative.
About Coinbase Wallet
Coinbase Wallet is a user-controlled cryptocurrency wallet for Coinbase. With Coinbase.com, you can buy crypto and Coinbase stores it (along with your private keys) for you; with Coinbase Wallet, you can store your own crypto (safeguarded by a private key that you only know).
Integration with Nuo
In Nuo, we are providing the user with the option of connecting with the Wallet app. A user can now Sign up with Coinbase Wallet, Login and for existing users, you can click on the ‘Connect Wallet’ option and connect with the Wallet App.
New Users: Sign Up With Wallet App
Step 1: Scan the QR code with your Wallet(Coinbase) app QR scanner. This creates a secure encrypted link between the Wallet app and Nuo.
Step 2: You need to authorize Nuo to access your wallet address and initiate transactions. From then on, you will be able to sign every transaction initiated on Nuo using the Wallet app.
Step 3: Finally you’d have to pay a small miner’s fee on the Wallet app which will connect the Coinbase Wallet to the Nuo platform. From then on, you will be able to sign every transaction initiated on Nuo using the Wallet app.
Existing Users: Connect With Wallet App
Step 1: Go to the top bar, click on the Connect Wallet and select the Coinbase wallet.
Step 2: Now on the Wallet app, you need to Authorize Nuo and Sign the Signature Request.
Step 3: Once, you’ve given permission to Nuo via the Wallet App, you’d receive a notification that the Wallet App is now connected. From then on, you will be able to sign every transaction initiated on Nuo using the Wallet app.
