Step-by-Step Guide to buy Bitcoin with your Credit Card
Missing out on all the action happening in the crypto-world because of all the shenanigans of signing up on a crypto exchange? We have just the solution for you. You can now start your crypto journey with buying bitcoins by just filling in your card details.
Pre-requisites:
- Be sure to open Nuo app. Click here to download it, if you already haven’t.
- Have your MasterCard/Visa credit card you plan to use in front of you.
- You will be asked to provide verification with a Government Issued ID.
(This can be a driver’s license, international ID or passport. You will need to upload both the front and back sides during the verification process)
STEP 1: Select your desired crypto currency
Open the Nuo app and hit the BUY BTC button. From the list of currencies, you can choose which crypto currency you would like to buy. After selecting your desired crypto currency, you will be redirected to the partner service — changelly. Your relevant wallet address will be copied to clipboard automatically.
Step 2: Select the amount
From the Buy Bitcoin page you can choose how many Bitcoins you’d like to buy. You can enter the amount of BTC/BCH or the amount in USD/EUR you would like to purchase. The next step will be to enter your BTC/BCH address. Since the app had already copied the relevant address, you just need to simply paste your address here.
Step 3: Billing Info
- Enter Your Personal Details and Billing Address for the card being used and your MOBILE NUMBER.
- Confirm the Order Summary Amount you entered is accurate and continue
Step 4: Payment Details
- After the email and phone verification, you will be directed to the payments page.
- Enter the information for the card being used and follow the verification instructions on your bank page to authorise the transaction.
STEP 5: Verification with Government Issued ID
- You will also be asked to provide verification with a Government Issued ID. This can be a driver’s license, international ID or passport. You will need to upload BOTH the front and back sides during the verification process.
- You will be asked to upload the image of the FRONT SIDE of your ID first. Select the file and click Upload Document. Once completed you will be asked “Do you want to Upload another file?”. Select YES and upload the BACK SIDE image of your ID.
- Note — our system does not confirm visually that the images are uploaded successfully. Once both have been uploaded, you can select NO to uploading another file.
Step 6: Thank You!
- Simplex is currently verifying your transaction. It is possible that you will notice a charge in your credit card account. This is only an authorization check, automatically made in order to reserve the amount in case the payment is approved. If the payment doesn’t go through (cancelled, expired or failed), this authorization check will be voided in no more than 48 hours, and you will not see the charge in your account.
- Please note, some first-time transactions may be escalated for a manual approval. This is the message you will receive by email if this is the case:“For security reasons, your payment is currently being reviewed for manual approval — an analyst will go over it shortly. This should take no longer than 48 business hours. We apologize for the inconvenience — this was done to assure your safety. Future transactions should prove much faster.”
