Introduction

Please read the entirety of this FAQ. Some sections have specific rules corresponding to tasks.

What is the NUPay Bounty Program?

NUPay is creating a new way to pay. As well as cryptocurrencies we are also providing a seamless payment platform for on and offline payments. Our payment platform will allow using their membership points and cryptocurrencies for fiat payments.

The object of this NUPay Bounty is to increase the visibility and discussion of NuPay and its payment platform. All details regarding the NUPay Bounty Program are mentioned in the detailed FAQ below. All information regarding the bounty program will be posted on the official NUPay Medium Channel.

Further Bounty Program announcements will also be posted on the NUPay Bounty Telegram Community. This group has been specifically made for bounty-related discussions. Please avoid posting bounty-related messages in the main NUPay Telegram Community. Community members will be kicked from the main NUPay Telegram group if they continuously use it to ask bounty-related questions.

Note that inactive members of the Bounty Telegram Community will be removed. Please only join the NUPay Bounty Telegram Community if you are interested in participating in the bounty program. Please also note that this Telegram group has been created for the sole purpose of discussing the NUPay Bounty Program and the NUPay Project.

How do I join the Bounty Telegram Group?

To join the “NUPay Bounty Telegram Community”, please DM (via Telegram) the Bounty Managers (@NUPay_SamYang OR @NUPay_Peter) only. These two people are specifically tasked with managing the bounty and can answer all of your NUPay bounty-related questions.

Please make sure to read the breakdown of the general rules here

or scroll to the bottom of this post to read the full list of the General Rules.

When will the Bounty Program Start?

The Bounty Program will start on Jan 15th, 2019 and will end on Mar 25th, 2019. (Total 10 Weeks)

Who can participate in the Bounty Program?

We are looking for experienced bounty participants and newbies alike to help promote and lead the discussion on forums, social media, and content creating platforms. All participants must be over 18 years old.

Prior to participating in the NUPay Bounty Program, you should:

  • Firstly, go to the NUPay Website and learn about the NUPay Service.
  • Secondly, go to the TPCT ICO Website and read the TPCT White Paper.

  • NUPay Twitter here.

Lastly, read this FAQ carefully. Once complete, apply through the relevant forms for the section of the bounty campaign you would like to participate in. Links to these forms can be found below.

Please note that the terms of each bounty are different, so please read each section thoroughly before starting

How many TPCT Tokens are allocated to the NUPay Bounty Program?

Overall 2,500,000,000 TPCT will be issued. This is the total supply. Out of this, 500,000,000 TPCT will be allocated to Market Development. Within this Market Development category, 3,750,000 TPCT will be allocated to this NUPay Bounty Program — this makes up 0.15% of the overall TPCT Token supply.

In the future, we will also run additional Bounty Programs and marketing activity. Additional bounties and marketing activities will be run during the Crowd Sale, during listing on partner exchanges, and also during the commercial release of the NUPay platform and ecosystem.

**Please be aware that the total allocation amount for the NUPay Bounty Program is subject to change by the NUPay Team. Changes will always be announced prior to the change happening.**

What campaign sections does the NUPay Bounty Program have?

The NUPay Bounty Program is divided into the following 4 campaigns sections:

1.BitcoinTalk (25% / 937,500 TPCT)

2. Contents (30% / 1,125,000 TPCT)

3. Social Media (30% / 1,125,000 TPCT)

4. Translation (15% / 562,500 TPCT)

** Please be aware that the minimum number of participants for each bounty campaign section is 15 participants. This excludes the translation campaign section. In the unlikely event that the participant levels are not met, NUPay will cancel that section of the Bounty Program. The decision will be made on the then current and projected levels of participation after a few weeks of the bounty running.**

How are the Bounty rewards calculated?

Points will be used during the bounty program and allocated to participants on a weekly basis for specific tasks for that week. The accumulated points will then be exchanged into TPCT Tokens using the below formula at the end of the bounty program.

The calculation will happen at the end of the Pre-Sale, and participants will receive their TPCT tokens within 8 weeks of the ICO being finished.

How are points allocated?

Points are allocated for specific tasks, detailed below. There are several factors affecting the number of points a person receives each week. Perceived social influence, quality of work and rank on forums are all variables that effect allocated points each week. Points allocation is specific to each section, so please make sure to read each section of the NUPay Bounty Program carefully. The information can be found here or below.

How and when will NUPay provide participants with their bounty?

Bounty participants must submit an application to join the bounty program first. During the application process, we will ask participants to provide an ETH address. Once complete we will send participants their bounties within 8 weeks of NUPay officially announcing the end of our ICO on NUPay Official Medium Channel. Bounties will be sent to the submitted ETH address.

Please note that it is important that participants keep their private keys to the submitted ETH address safe. Once submitted, ETH addresses cannot be changed — in all circumstances.

How can I apply for the bounty campaign?

You can apply using the information and links to particular application forms below.

Can I join more than one campaign at a time?

Yes. Participants are allowed only one account per campaign section. Duplicate accounts in the same section will be deleted and participants will be removed from the bounty program. The Bounty is divided into the following general sections, note that some of these sections are sub-divided.

Bounty Sections:

Bitcointalk, Contents (sub-divided into Articles & Videos), Social Media (Subdivided into Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) and Translations.

Participants can participate in multiple sections if they like. But only one account can be used per campaign section. For example: A participant can take part in the Twitter, Facebook and Instagram bounty using three separate accounts for each social media platform. But a participant cannot have two active accounts in the Twitter campaign section, for example. One account per section is the rule.

Can I participate using multiple accounts in the same bounty campaign section?

No. As above, one account per section is the rule. Participants will be removed or blocked from the bounty campaign if they are found to be using more than one account per campaign section.

Communication During the Bounty Campaign

How do I get in contact with Bounty Managers, and is there a NUPay Bounty Telegram Community?

Yes. The main method of communication will be the through the official NUPay Bounty Telegram Community. We will also provide updates on our official Medium Channel. Occasionally we will also release bounty updates on Facebook and Twitter. But the majority of the day-to-day communication between NUPay and bounty participants will be through the previously mentioned Bounty Telegram Community.

Who are the Bounty Managers?

The NUPay bounty managers are Sam and Peter (@NUPay_SamYang / @NUPay_Peter). Both are full-time employees at NUPay and both are fluent in English and Korean. English will be the primary language used for this bounty campaign and any subsequent communication during the bounty campaign.

If you have any questions regarding the bounty program OR you would like to join the NUPay Bounty Telegram Group please contact @NUPay_SamYang and @NUPay_Peter ONLY.

Please note that the NUPay Bounty Telegram group has been set up for the sole purpose of asking and answering bounty and project related questions only. Any talk off-topic, advertising other bounty programs, impolite behavior or talk of price speculation may result in participants being removed from the group.

Where will NUPay make official announcements regarding the Bounty Program?

NUPay will make all official announcements regarding the bounty program (and subsequent bounty programs) through their official Medium Channel. Announcements will also be made via the bounty campaign Telegram group and occasionally Facebook, Twitter and potentially through the official bounty email address (bounty@nupaymentalliance.com).

As a general suggestion, participants should follow all of NUPay’s official social media channels and groups to ensure they do not miss any important updates.

NUPay Bounty Program Campaign Sections

The NUPay Bounty Program includes 4 general campaigns or sections (Bitcointalk, Content, Translations and Social Media). Some of the campaigns are subdivided into smaller sections, so please read the below carefully to find out the rules and requirements for each section.

BitcoinTalk Campaign:

The # of TPCT Tokens allocated for the BitcoinTalk Campaign is 937,500 TPCT. The Bitcointalk campaign has two elements to it:

1. Signatures

Is there a referral program for the Bitcointalk campaign?

Yes, with exceptions. NUPay is offering a referral bonus for the Bitcointalk campaign. But please make sure that any referrals are mentioned when applying through the application forms here. Changes and referrals cannot be retroactively added. Referral bonuses are also only valid from participants who have also completed the Bounty Program. If participants (referred participants/referring participants) quit, referral bonuses will be canceled. Referral Bonuses will be added at the end of the Bounty Program.

For example: If Participant A refers Participant B to the NUPay Bitcointalk campaign, Participant B must mention Participant A’s Bitcointalk handle during their application process. Moreover, both Participant A and Participant B must both fully complete the NUPay Bounty Program to receive their bounties. If Participant B drops out, Participant A will not receive his referral bonus.

Bounty participants who notice poor quality work or mistakes will be rewarded with a small bonus for their effort. Participants who submit poor quality work will be removed from the bounty program.

  • TPCT White Paper: 8 Days
  • One Pager: 2 Days
  • Bitcointalk NUPay Ann Thread (Local Boards): 2 Days.

Are there any additional bounties?

Yes. Small bounties will be given for spotting important errors and mistakes. The giving of these one-off bounties is strictly at the discretion of NUPay’s Bounty Managers. Small errors and suggestions on content, syntax or design changes will not be considered a bounty and will therefore not be rewarded.

Additional bounties will be given for community admins, local board admins, and other community administrative roles. These bounties will be given on an ad hoc basis and will be based on the experience and enthusiasm of the participant applying. Please get in contact with NUPay Bounty Management Team to discuss and suggest possibilities.

  • At present, the White Paper will only be translated into Chinese (Either Mandarin or Cantonese) and Japanese. But the One-Pager and Bitcointalk threads need to be translated into a variety of different languages.
  • All Translation works MUST be high-quality works and they will be reviewed by the NUPay Team and the natives of that specific language for the official release/publication. The shoddy, inaccurate and poorly translated material will be rejected.
  • All Translation Works must be submitted to the NUPay Team in Word format or according to the guidelines. Translators can also be provided with the PDF and InDesign versions of the White Paper and One Pager for direct translations — but the quality is paramount.

Reporting Activity

How do I report my activity?

Please report your NUPay Bounty Program activities for Bitcointalk and Social Media (Facebook, Instagarm, and Twitter) to our official BitcoinTalk Bounty Thread in the comments sections. Please use this format when reporting:

<Telegram OR Bitcointalk Handle> @Example
<Bounty Campaign Section Title> Facebook Campaign

<Type of Activity #1> Likes/Shares

<Html Link to Activity #1> https://facebook.com/example_1
<Html Link to Activity #2> https://facebook.com/example_2
<Html Link to Activity #3>https://facebook.com/example_3

<Type of Activity #1> Comments

<Html Link to Activity #1> https://facebook.com/example_1
<Html Link to Activity #2> https://facebook.com/example_2
<Html Link to Activity #3>https://facebook.com/example_3

Your NUPay Bounty activity report MUST be submitted no later than every Monday 10:00 AM KST (for the previous weeks activity). Monday 10am KST will most likely be Sunday night in most places. Submission after this time will not be counted and considered as a failure to report activity.

NUPay: 1 Week Bounty Campaign Example

Failure to report on time or inaccessible/broken links will be disregarded and bounties will be forfeited for that week.

Why does activity report submission have to be by Monday 10 am KST?

Operationally, our Bounty Managers and NUPay Korea are based in Seoul, Korea. Monday 10 am KST will be when checks for the previous week’s work will begin the office. In most cases, Monday 10 am KST will be Sunday afternoon/evening in most places. But if you want to compare time-zones check here.

When and how will I know my points for the week?

Points allocation will be calculated and checked. This will be updated before Friday of every week and posted here. Until the ICO has been fully completed only points will be posted, not TPCT tokens. As token allocation is based on a combination of fixed and non-fixed variables, it would be impossible to provide a complete calculation until the end of the campaign.

If you have any issues with point allocations or bounties, please contact our Bounty Manager directly. Flooding (continuously posting the same request/compliant) chatrooms with complaints or requests will be met with permanent bans and removal from the bounty program.
