Talonda Rogers “always wanted to be a nurse, but was talked out of it by well-meaning family members” by the time she graduated high school. Instead, she pursed a Bachelor’s in Marketing, but after a decade in the business world, she decided to fulfill her mission to become a nurse. She graduated in 2008 with her licensed practical nursing degree, in 2013 with her Associate of Science in Nursing, in 2015 with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, and in 2018 with her Master’s of Science in Nursing. She has held numerous roles for over a decade including in nursing homes, vascular surgery, cardiac telemetry, and pediatric home home health. She is currently a full time clinical and classroom nursing instructor for the Practical Nursing Program at the Chester County Intermediate Unit, for the very program where she started her career as an LPN.
