Lessons from Tiffany

Remember Why This Is Important To You.

Technology

Don’t be narrow minded. To create an environment that thrives on creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, voice out all ideas and hear all ideas first. For the prototype, set your ideas into a tangible reality and get started. Once the product is out, iterate rapidly by perfecting it over time.

Networking

Build support among business leaders. You got to contact those at the very top to accelerate your path upwards. Build your support among business leaders and contact those at the very top to accelerate your path upwards. Because who you hang out with will determine your path to success. Tap into their networks and gain access to other individuals you need to become the best version of yourself. Optimize your conversations by asking if there is anyone they can introduce to help you with something you need support in. Collaborate and learn by working on projects together to improve your own skills and knowledge base.

Community

Always be kind and practice empathy because it will help you to connect to others externally and internally. Remain true to yourself and be authentic. Stay with your mission and it will help you maintain buy-in as you grow. Be generous and give without expectation. It will inspire goodwill in the world around you and an opportunity will be presented when you least expected it.

Lastly, Tiffany mentioned a mistake we all should not make. During her first pitch, she used black background for her presentation and it was not ideal for printing. So remember, use a white background for your pitch presentation!
