NUSEA Initiative: Everyone can Write!
Today, the NUSEA Medium team is proud to announce the Everyone can Write! Initiative. The initiative was inspired by Harris story of becoming a full stack developer in 12 weeks.
The Everyone can Write! initiative is structured as a publication centre that collects all the stories that NUS Silicon Valley students and alumni write. The publication, titled NUSEA Silicon Valley, is your one-stop-shop for everything you want to know about how everyone else is doing.
To start off, if you are affilitated to either National University of Singapore (NUS) or NUS Overseas Colleges Programme (NOC), you are automatically invited to publish your story on this publication. NUSEA will reach out to you if you meet the above criteria and invite you to be a writer of this publication.
For those unfamiliar with the Medium platform, start off by creating your free medium account. Once created, you can start writing your story.
Once you finish writing a story, publish it on your own account. Once done, scroll to the bottom of your story and click on the icon with 3 dots. A scroll up will appear. Select add to publication.
If you are a writer to the NUSEA SV Publication, you can automatically submit for publication. If you are not, connect with us to start contributing as a writer.
The NUSEA Silicon Valley Publication is sub-divided into 4 main topics; Internship Stories, Venture Capital, Silicon Valley Guide and Everything Else. Writers should consider which topic their story falls into when writing. Nevertheless, feel free to suggest topics that will be good for the publication and they may be included.
The NUSEA Medium Team acts as a curator and can assist you in editing and polishing your story if you require help. At the heart of this initiative is the idea that together is better. The entrepreneurship journey is not an easy one and there is a need to bounce energy and thoughts off one another. As a community anchored by a publication page, you should not feel alone here in the Valley.
Currently, the publication is filled with stories from Jeremy Moi. The NUSEA team hopes to have more story from other individuals highlighting different perspectives, challenges and happy times. Do note that the stories you write belong to you. At any time, you can remove them from the NUS SV publication without notification.
