As of now, we have 100+ mentors and volunteers serving for mentorship, who have mentored 200+ jobs/internships and other causes. We acknowledge their dedication and are extremely thankful for their precious time. We proudly manage over 100 guidance groups dedicated to supporting students in realizing their career aspirations across the United States. Our comprehensive support includes expertise in resume writing, job search strategies, and mentorship. We are pleased to have successfully placed our students at prestigious organizations such as Microsoft, HPE, Cisco, Google, Rivian, and Tesla, among others. Additionally, we maintain an extensive network of alumni employed at various leading companies, which enables us to facilitate referrals for open positions at these organizations where we have alumni presence. Below are the details of NUSTIAN’s programs of academic chapter.

Academic Coaching Program: Last academic cycle, NUSTIAN USA provided coaching to 36 students for getting admissions for higher education in the USA. Out of 36 students, 16 students got admission in the USA universities, out of which 9 have been awarded scholarships. NUSTIAN USA congratulates all the students for their outstanding accomplishments and the mentors for taking time out to guide students with the graduate applications. Details of the admitted students are as follows:

  • Ahmed Mohsin secured admission in Stanford University for PhD in Electrical Engineering with scholarship
  • Muhammad Usama secured admission in UT Austin for PhD in Mechanical Engineering with scholarship
  • Emad Ali secured admission in Virginia Tech for PhD in Engineering Education with scholarship
  • Jahangir Babar secured admission in Northeastern University for MS in Engineering Management
  • Ali Asad secured admission in University of Houston for MS in Industrial Engineering with partial scholarship
  • Sana Ullah secured admission in George Mason University for PhD in Civil Engineering with scholarship
  • Umer Saleem secured admission in Northeastern University for MS with scholarship
  • Cyphanah Arshad Khan secured admission in Carnegie Mellon University for MS in Urban Design with full scholarship
  • Hadiya Babar secured admission in University of Rochester for MBA with partial scholarship
  • Muhammad Kumail secured admission in Purdue University for MS in Computer Science
  • Hira Memon secured admission in Purdue University Fort Wayne for MS
  • Ali Sipra secured admission in University of Delaware for MS in Business Analytics and Information Management

Summer Research Internship Program: NUSTIAN USA is delighted to facilitate summer research internships of talented students seeking higher education with distinguished faculty members in the US and Canada. This year we have vetted 14 highly motivated students for 10 projects proposed by faculty members in the US and Canada. NUSTIAN USA is also delighted to have raised funds to reward students for successfully completing their internship with up to 200 USD each or equivalent in gifts. We wish the students to make the most of this opportunity and enjoy doing meaningful work in summer. Names of the 13 shortlisted students and their information is as follows:

Summer Interns Working at US Companies: This summer, our interns are making valuable contributions across a variety of esteemed U.S. companies. They are engaged in diverse roles, ranging from engineering and data science to software development and vehicle research. Our interns are gaining hands-on experience and making an impact in their respective fields, further enhancing their skills and professional growth. Names of the 9 shortlisted students and their information is as follows:

  • Afrasiab Khan, a masters student at University of Houston, currently interning in engineering at IKO Southwest Inc.
  • Haris Riaz, a PhD student at University of Arizona, currently interning in LLMs at Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Raaiha Humayun, a masters student at UCSD, currently interning in data analysis at UCSD Health
  • Syed Abdul Sami Rizvi, a masters student at University of Louisiana at Lafayette, currently interning in data science at FlyGuys
  • Uzair Akbar, a masters student at Georgia Institute of Technology, currently interning in software engineering at HPE
  • Hasan Iqbal, a masters student at Wayne State University, currently interning in software engineering at Rocket Mortgage
  • Shahid Aziz Khan, a PhD student at University of Michigan, currently interning in power electronics at Aptive
