NUSTIAN USA Graduate Scholarship Program
NUSTIAN USA is pleased to announce the launch of the NUSTIAN USA Graduate Scholarship Program. This program is designed to support NUST alums facing financial hardship in completing their graduate education in the USA.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a NUSTIAN USA member
- Be a graduate of NUST
- Be enrolled in a full-time graduate program in the USA
- Be on an F1 visa
- Have completed the first semester of their graduate program
- Be in good standing academically
- Plan to donate the scholarship amount to NUSTIAN USA in full
- Be maintaining a legal residency status in the USA
Exclusions
Scholarship Assistance is only for graduate program-related expenses and not for other personal hardships.The scholarship is also NOT available for 1st semester or aspiring graduate students in Pakistan. The candidate should not be getting funds from any other government organization.
Scholarship Amount
Eligible candidates can be supported with a scholarship of up to $5,000. In addition, an additional $2,500 scholarship may be available if needed. The money will be deposited directly into the university account.
Payback Expectation
In good faith, the scholarship awardee will donate back the total scholarship amount to this fund, with no interest, within 12–18 months of graduation.
Application Process
To apply for the scholarship, candidates must complete the online application form. The application form can be found on the NUSTIAN USA website. In addition to the application form, candidates must submit a written essay detailing their current situation and future plans.
