Hello NUSTIANs,
Pakistan is going through one of the worst flood disasters in South Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, parts of KPK, GB and AJK. An estimated 30 million people are impacted, and approx 1,000 people have lost their lives. In the last few days, NUSTIAN members have voiced the need and desire to help the affected people.
We will be collaborating with Nust Alumni Association (NAA) representatives and volunteers on the ground to support the impacted. Senior NUST leadership is onboard, and volunteers are mobilizing to procure items, package rations for families, and distribute them to the affected. NAA is also enhancing its efforts by coordinating with other non-profits to provide food, shelter, and medical support to impacted families.
