Hot lemon water (HLW) is a staple in my daily routine. It’s fabulous for busting cravings, boosting immunity, curbing appetite, and gives the perfect mental jumpstart to get the day going.

If you’ve already joined the hot lemon water club, you’re going to LOVE this new twist…

GINGER WATER

HOW TO MAKE GINGER WATER
Add 1 teaspoon of grated fresh ginger to 8 ounces of almost boiling water.
Let it sit for 5 minutes & then drink!

Ginger will settle to the bottom of the cup & you can drink it just like that OR stir it up if you want to drink those pieces. Either way you’ll get benefits.

If you don’t like the pieces floating around, you can put the grated ginger directly in a cute tea diffuser before steeping.

If you prefer cold drinks, you can refrigerate after making it.

WHY GINGER WATER?

Research shows that about 1 teaspoon of grated fresh ginger is beneficial for…

Aiding digestion

Boosting the immune system

Settling an upset stomach or nausea

Reducing muscle soreness

PRO TIPS FOR STORAGE & TIME SAVERS

– Run a spoon over ginger to peel it before grating.
– Use this FUN ginger gadget to make grating easier.
– Grate a bunch of ginger & freeze in small piles so it’s ready to use anytime.
– Refrigerate unpeeled ginger in an air-tight ziptop bag.

PS: Now that you’ll have fresh ginger in your house, you can use it in other things like smoothies, oatmeal, and stir-fries.
