The Power of -ISH

The #1 issue my clients have is…trying TOO hard.

They want so badly to get healthy & lose weight…so they strive for perfection (perfect diet, perfect exercise plan, perfect meal prep, etc.) and it ends up inevitably paralyzing them into INACTION.

TRUTH: It’s exhausting to be perfect. People decide to give up on healthy habits because they can’t sustain perfection. NOBODY CAN.

SOLUTION: Instead of perfect, just do the ✨Best-ISH✨ you can.
When you throw “-ISH” onto doing your best…it takes the pressure off being perfect.

My personal philosophy revolves around living your best-ISH life.

Perfectionist tendencies show up as all or nothing thinking toward healthy habits:
— I don’t have 60 minutes to spare for the perfect workout, so I won’t go.
— I didn’t have a healthy lunch, so I’ll eat whatever for dinner & be perfect tomorrow.
— It would be a luxury to find time to meditate every morning, maybe someday I’ll give it a try.

I believe that doing things half-ass is better than not doing them.
And the MAGIC of doing things half-ass gets you into the momentum of ACTION. And soon your half-ass habits naturally get better & better.

Your WOW Challenge:
Add more “-ISH” to your life.
All in the name of progress, not perfection.
workout-ISH, calories-ISH, meditation-ISH

LIVE YOUR BEST-ISH LIFE:
👉Instead of skipping exercise when short on time, try a quick workout-ISH like this sprint routine. New research finds that YES you can get results with as little as 13-minutes, 3x/week.

👉Instead of perfectly calorie counting, visualize each meal to be 400 calories-ISH like THIS.

👉Instead of ditching morning meditation, do THIS meditation-ISH for 16 seconds to feel more present & less frazzled.
