Wellness is beyond food. It’s sleep, it’s exercise, it’s meditation. We know this. But did you know wellness is also about TIME MANAGEMENT?
Let me introduce you to a life changing wellness tool I implement in not only my life but my clients’ lives too….
TIME BLOCKING
This simple time hack helps you become insanely productive and focused on. what. matters.
WHAT IS IT?
It’s when you do only ONE thing for a set block of time.
HOW DO YOU DO IT?
1. Write out a realistic list of tasks you want to get done during the day.
2. Pick one thing from the list + set a time limit for how long you want to spend on the task.
3. Set a TIMER!!! and get to work.
Pro-tip: You can simply set a timer on your phone, use one of my favorite apps called Focus@Will, or use a fun timer cube like THIS.Fight the urge to switch tasks, multi-task, or get distracted by email or instagram by telling yourself:
“ The timer will be beeping soon enough & when it does that’s when I’ll take a break, start a new task, or reward myself w/ a little screw around time.”

What I love about time blocking…
Staying focused on just ONE task at a time allows you to be way more productive and feel. less. frazzled. Now that’s what I call WELLNESS.
And here’s some real motivation to use TIME BLOCKING…
If you interrupt your concentration, say check Instagram in between working on a project, research suggests you’ll waste 24 minutes just trying to regain your focus. Yikes.
